FC Dunav will play against Cherno more (Varna), Botev (Vratsa) and Inter (Plachidol) as „the dragons“ are to compete at „Albena Cup“ pre-season tournament, which is set to take place between 6th and 16th of February in Albena – a resort located in the Northern part of the Bulgarian Black sea coast.
A total of 8 teams are set to take part in the tournament, with the rest being drawn in another group – Lokomotiv (Gorna Oryahovitsa), Chernomorets (Balchik), Balkan (Botevgrad) and Academia (Chishineu, Moldova).
The schedule with pre-season friendlies include also fixtures against top flight clubs such as Beroe (Stara Zagora). „The dragons“ will play against FC Oborishte (Panagurishte) and Etar (Veliko Tarnovo) as well.
The first game from the spring phase of the championship in Bulgarian second division is scheduled to start on February, 27th against Neftohimic (Burgas) in Ruse. FC Dunav is the current leader in the division, being four points ahead Locomotiv (Gorna Oryahovitsa) and Pomorie which both share the second place.
